So Close Yet So Far

from $650.00

A personal favorite from the series depicts the scale and difficulty of logistics during a global pandemic. Cargo Ships linger off the coast waiting for a purpose while ports operate at capacity. Meanwhile, millions of consumers anxiously await their Amazon orders only a few miles away framed by downtown Los Angeles in the distance.

I shot this from a helicopter I commissioned while living in Long Beach during what feels now like a distant memory. I pray that we'll never see the economy freeze like this again, but I am grateful that I got to see it from a rare perspective. I hope these images remind us all just how fragile our system of commerce can be.

This photo highlights the vital role of maritime commerce in connecting the world. Perfect for those interested in maritime aesthetics, logistics, industry, and who like to be the dynamic intersection of city and sea.
